Michael Tauber, Principal, AIA

Founded in 2004, Michael Tauber Architecture combines an appreciation of soul and spirit with a scientific desire to understand how things work. Over the years, the firm has designed and managed everything from single-family homes to apartments, laboratories and civic buildings.

“I knew from the time I was in kindergarten that I wanted to become an architect,” Michael says. “I loved building things with Legos, and I liked watching the TV show the Brady Bunch not because of the storylines but because of the set’s impressive steel staircase and sunk-in living room.”

His knowledge of construction methods and his attention to detail determine the materials, textures, colors and rhythms that become an essential part of everything he creates. Many of his designs have earned awards and been featured in both architectural and trade publications.
